Foreign Languages Resource Center

On 28 April 2009, the Foreign Languages Resource Center (FLRC) was opened. It was realized within TEMPUS, the European Commission, and with the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation support at Siberian State Aerospace University named after M.F. Reshetnev.

The main aim of FLRC is to provide open, public access to the foreign educational resources on the basis of information-communication technologies.

The staff of FLRC can advise on where and how to choose the suitable grants or scholarship grant programs. We pay attention to cooperation of students and faculty with the help of virtual teaching spaces, such as Microsoft Live@edu and many others. Due to the virtual teaching spaces we have a great chance to communicate with the representatives of Russian and foreign universities, to elaborate on common projects and to exchange experience. In addition, in FLRC you can have access to the electronic libraries of Russian universities, such as: Russian State Library (RSL), Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MSIIR), Moscow State University (MSU) named after M.V. Lomonosov, Irkutsk State University (ISU) and many others and we are planning to cooperate with universities of the EU and the USA.

The teaching seminars, conferences, preliminary courses of foreign languages, presentations of new literature, thematic exhibitions, master classes are held by the staff of FLRC.

The following events were organized and held during the period from May to July:
